Marketing Resources for Suppliers

Welcome to BlueTape!

These guidelines are designed to help our partners get the most out of their BlueTape accounts. Our priority is to help you introduce BlueTape's Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) features to your customers, increase your sales, and decrease your Days Sales Outstanding with higher adoption. You can add this messaging to your website, to your promotional ads and materials, and to all parts of your sales funnel.

Messaging

Use friendly language and keep things simple. When dealing with technical and financial information, be straightforward, transparent, and precise.

Compliance

We take compliance very seriously at BlueTape. Everything that is communicated and marketed must comply with the regulations and standards that govern the industry. These include the CAN-SPAM Act, the Truth in Lending Act, and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act. 

To ensure compliance, all marketing assets and communications have to be reviewed and approved before release. Submit your requests at marketing@bluetape.com.

CAN-SPAM Act:

The Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography And Marketing (CAN-SPAM) Act of 2003 is a law passed in 2003 establishing the United States' first national standards for the sending of commercial e-mail.

At BlueTape, we follow all the requirements established for commercial messages, give all recipients the ability to stop receiving messages, and follow through with their requests.

BlueTape Brand Compliance

  • Do not copy BlueTape content or imagery, such as promotions or advertisements, for your own use without the consent of BlueTape. Be sure to follow BlueTape’s brand guidelines. Never alter BlueTape’s marketing materials by changing content, colors, or designs.
  • Never alter BlueTape’s logos without BlueTape’s consent.

Best Practices

  • Always include the BlueTape logo anywhere BlueTape is mentioned. Include a BlueTape button on your website to provide a pre-approval option for your customers.
  • Use the Supplier Resources provided to you by BlueTape to publish content across your business channels. You can also create your own content and have it approved by the BlueTape team. To do so, simply email marketing@bluetape.com for approval or to request additional marketing materials.
